The day began with a vibrant Youth Rally in Idado, Sagamu, led by His Royal Highness, Oba Musiliu Oriyomi Soile, the Radanuwa of Idado. The energetic procession brought together young people from across the community, showcasing unity, enthusiasm, and cultural pride. As part of the rally, the delegation made a courtesy visit to the Akarigbo Palace, where they paid homage to the paramount ruler and Akarigbo of Remo Land, Oba Dr. Babatunde Adewale Ajayi (Torungbuwa II).

In his address, the Akarigbo expressed heartfelt appreciation to the people for their support and enthusiasm towards the Lidero Festival. He also commended the Radanuwa for his dedication and for leading the rally with distinction.

In the evening, the revered Ije Agemo took center stage at the palace. The Agemo, a deeply respected spiritual figure in Yoruba tradition, made his ceremonial journey, accompanied by chants, rhythmic drumming, and a vibrant display of traditional regalia. The procession reflected centuries-old customs, as devotees and spectators joined in reverence, underscoring the Agemo’s role in fostering peace, unity, and spiritual protection for the land.

The night concluded with the exhilarating Talent Hunt and Youth Carnival along Aiyepe Road and at the palace grounds. Bright lights, colorful costumes, and energetic performances filled the air with excitement. Singers, dancers, comedians, and spoken-word artists showcased their skills to an enthusiastic crowd, while the carnival atmosphere—complete with music, food stalls, and street festivities—kept the community engaged late into the night. It was a joyful celebration of youth creativity and cultural pride, leaving lasting memories for participants and spectators alike.

As the festival gradually draws its curtains, all eyes now turn to Day 7, with the community eagerly anticipating another day of culture, celebration, and togetherness.
