Manchester City One Game Away from Historic Treble After Beating Manchester United in FA Cup Final

Manchester City is on the verge of making history by winning the Premier League, FA Cup, and Champions League in the same season. The team defeated Manchester United 2-1 in the FA Cup final, with Ilkay Gundogan scoring both goals. The first goal came after just 12 seconds, making it the fastest goal in FA Cup final history.

 

Bruno Fernandes scored a penalty to level the score for United, but Manchester City held on for the win. The victory marks a significant step towards a historic treble for the club, as they have already secured the Premier League title and are set to face Inter Milan in the Champions League final on June 10.

 

The team’s manager, Pep Guardiola, praised his players’ efforts, stating that they had played “fantastic football” throughout the season. Manchester City fans around the world will be eagerly anticipating the Champions League final, where their team will have the chance to make history.
