Governor Peter Mbah of Enugu State has urged residents to come out and work on Monday, the first working day of the week. Mbah went around the Enugu metropolis to encourage people to go about their various businesses and avoid sitting at home. He stressed that the crippling of the economy must be avoided, and everyone should work together to ensure its revival.

The call to revive the economy comes at a time when many businesses closed today gue to the sit at home policy that has been for a long while in the state. Many residents have been forced to stay at home, leading to a decline in economic activities. Mbah emphasized that it’s time to get back to work and revive the economy.

Mbah’s call has been welcomed by many residents who have expressed their readiness to get back to work. They believe that the revival of the economy is crucial to the development of Enugu and the South-East region at large. The Enugu State Government has also called on residents to go about their businesses and assured them of their safety.
