Rivers United on Friday ended Bendel Insurance Unbeaten Run of 26 games in all competition this season, in a thriller match, day 4 encounter of the Super 6 championship ongoing in Lagos.

Two late goals in each of the halves by Morice Chukwu and Joseph Onoja ended Insurance’s 26-match unbeaten run in all competitions this season, with Divine Nwachukwu scoring the consolation goal for Bendel Insurance to bring the scoreline to 2-1.

With the Victory, the defending champions now seat with 8 points to top of the super six logs, closely followed by Enyimba and Remo stars.
