Guinness World Records Announces Hilda Baci New Record Holder

Hilda Effiong Bassey, also known as Hilda Baci, has set a new Guinness World Record for the longest cooking marathon (individual), with a time of 93 hours and 11 minutes. The 26-year-old Nigerian chef began cooking on Thursday, May 11th, and continued through to Monday, May 15th, cooking over 100 pots of food during her four-day kitchen stint.

Hilda attempted to set a record of 100 hours, but almost seven hours were deducted from her final total because she mistakenly took extra minutes for one of her rest breaks early on in the attempt. The Guinness World Records confirmed Hilda’s achievement on their website, following a thorough review of all the evidence.

Hilda’s passion for cooking and her determination to break the record has made her an inspiration to many. She has shown that with hard work, dedication, and a love for what you do, anything is possible.
