NFF Extends Jose Peseiro’s Contract as Super Eagles Coach

The Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) has extended the contract of Jose Peseiro as the coach of the Super Eagles until after the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON).
The Portuguese coach was given a target to reach the semi-finals of the tournament in January 2024. Peseiro, who was appointed as the coach of the Super Eagles in February 2022, has a good track record, having managed several top clubs in Europe and Asia.
