A Magistrate’s Court in Ibadan has ordered that Abdullahi Adisa, popularly known as Trinity Guy, be kept in Agodi correctional facility until next month. The court is hearing allegations made by the police against the prankster for allegedly sexualising a minor in a viral 38-second video.

In the video, Trinity Guy asked a female minor to describe his genitals. The suspect’s lawyer, Oludare Adebayo, had pleaded with the court to release his client, but the magistrate judge, P.O Adetuyibi, rejected his plea.

The court’s decision to detain Trinity Guy is a clear indication of how seriously the court is taking the matter. The case has generated a lot of public outcry, with many people calling for justice for the minor. It is important that the justice system handles the case appropriately to ensure that justice is served. Trinity Guy had earlier claimed that he had an agreement with the minor’s parent before shooting the skit.

The court also ordered that the mother and father of the ten-year-old child that appears in the viral video with Trinity Guy should be detained in prison.

This is a significant development in the case, as it suggests that the parents may have played a role in the alleged sexualisation of the minor. The court’s decision to detain the parents is a clear indication that they are taking the allegations seriously.

The case has sparked a national conversation about the sexualisation of minors and the need for stricter laws to protect children. The case is expected to continue next month, and it remains to be seen what further developments will arise.
