His love for advancement led him to bag his Masters in Environmental Management and Ecology from Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife, and another degree in Public Administration from Harvard University, USA.

Of his love for a better living and a good ecosystem for his fatherland, Mr. Ola Oresanya returned to the country to give his quota back to his country. He is also a mentor to young people interested in pursuing careers in waste management.

A true waste warrior, Mr. Oresanya is passionate about making Africa a cleaner and healthier place. He is a valuable asset to the Ogun State government and is poised to make a significant impact on the environment of the state.

Here are some of his notable achievements: oversaw the transformation of LAWMA from a loss-making organization to a profitable one; Increased the recycling rate in Lagos State from 5% to 30%; Developed the Ogun State Waste Management Strategy, which is designed to make Ogun State a clean and healthy state; Encouraged the participation of the private sector in waste management in Ogun State.

In addition to his professional accomplishments, Mr. Oresanya is also a respected community leader, friendly alumnus, and philanthropist. He is a member of several non-profit organizations and has donated generously to several charitable causes. He is a true inspiration to us all.
