Portable Makes Bold Statement: “I’m Bigger Than The Headies, Even 2pac No Collect Grammys!”

Nigerian singer and songwriter, Habeeb Okikiola, popularly known as Portable has reacted to the Next Rated awards given to his colleague Asake, at the just concluded 16th edition of The Headies Awards.

Portable, whose two nominations for the 15th Headies-Rookie of the Year and Best Street-hop Artiste were revoked last year over his unguarded remarks of being associated with criminals and terrorists, did not get any nomination this year.

Reacting to the 16th Headies Award ceremony which was held in Atlanta, USA, on Sunday, Portable had shared a snippet of an unreleased song, dissing the award organisers.

Portable in the viral video claimed he is bigger than the Headies, stressing that even the late American hip-hop legend, Tupac Shakur didn’t win a Grammy.

“I’m bigger than The Headies, even 2pac no collect Grammys,” he sings.
