Lagos Police Arrest Colleague For Assault Of Female Skitmaker

The Lagos State Police Command has arrested two men, known as Sunday Osagie and Ayodele Adeolu, for assaulting and robbing actress and skitmaker, Ekwutousi Philo.

Ekwutousi Philo narrated that on October 20, she was assaulted by two policemen who were in a Korope and a Sienna vehicle.

She added that some of her properties were stolen including money and that damage was done to her car along Ketu-Alapere Highway in Lagos State.

Responding to her narration of the event via her Instagram account on Monday, the Lagos Police Public Relations Officer, Benjamin Hundeyin wrote: “This dismissed officer, Sunday Osagie, has been apprehended after over a week on the run.

“He was dismissed in April 2023 after being found guilty of engaging in illegal duties among other unprofessional conducts. He will be prosecuted accordingly for impersonating a police officer.”

In an update on Tuesday, the Rapid Response Squad of the Lagos State Police Command II via Squad’s X handle in a statement revealed that the suspects had been caught and would be transferred for further investigations.
