Remo Stars Condole Sunshine Stars, Condemns Attack
Remo Stars FC sympathises with the Management of Sunshine Stars FC over the attack of their players and officials on Thursday along Ore-Benin Expressway.
In a statement signed by the Secretary of Remo Stars, Mr. Michael Onikute condemned the attack and said there is no excuse and justification for attacking a football club trying to honour their matchday 13 fixture against Bendel Insurance on Saturday.
“The news is really unfortunate and it came to us as a shock. Attacks like this on football clubs in the country are highly condemned and he prayed for the quick recovery of the players and officials currently receiving treatments” the statement read.
