Super Eagles striker, Victor Osimhen, has received medical clearance from the team’s medical staff, paving the way for his return to the squad for the upcoming clash against South Africa. Osimhen had initially missed the team’s trip to Bouake, the venue for the semi-final encounter, due to abdominal discomfort.
The Napoli striker underwent examination on Tuesday morning, and upon receiving a clean bill of health, he is set to link up with the rest of the squad who have safely arrived in Bouake. Sources in Abidjan confirm that Osimhen is en route to Bouake after being declared fit by the medical team.
Osimhen has been a key player for the Super Eagles throughout their campaign in Cote d’Ivoire, featuring in all five matches and contributing with one goal and one assist. His return to the lineup will be a boost for the team as they prepare for the crucial encounter against South Africa.
