Manchester United advances to FA Cup Final

In a thrilling FA Cup Semi-Final at Wembley Stadium, Manchester United narrowly avoided defeat against Championship side Coventry, securing victory in a tense penalty shootout.

 

United dominated early on, with goals from Scott McTominay (23′), Harry Maguire (45+1′), and Bruno Fernandes (58′) giving them a 3-0 lead. However, Coventry staged a remarkable comeback, with goals from E. Simms (71′), C. O’Hare (79′), and H. Wright (90+5′) leveling the score at 3-3.

 

As tensions soared in extra time, Coventry thought they had won with a late goal, but VAR intervened and disallowed it. With the score deadlocked, the match went to a nerve-wracking penalty shootout, which United won.

 

Man United will now face Manchester City in the final on May 25th at Wembley.
