President Tinubu Returns to Abuja After Two-Week Foreign Trip

President Bola Tinubu has returned to Abuja after a two-week trip abroad, arriving at his official residence in the Aso Rock Villa in the early hours of Wednesday.

Confirmation of his return was made by his Special Adviser on Information and Strategy, Mr. Bayo Onanuga, in a tweet on Tuesday evening.

Tinubu’s journey began on April 23, 2024, when he departed Abuja for The Netherlands on a three-day official visit, responding to an invitation from Dutch Prime Minister, Mark Rutte. During his time in The Netherlands, he participated in the Nigerian-Dutch Business and Investment Forum and held meetings with King Willem-Alexander and Queen Maxima.

Subsequently, he proceeded to Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, to attend a World Economic Forum Special Meeting on Global Collaboration, Growth, and Energy for Development. Following the summit, Tinubu continued to London for a private visit, marking his 20th foreign trip since assuming office.
