Fuel Scarcity Hits Sagamu, Motorists Lament Long Queues

In a knee-jerk reaction to the confirmation of fuel subsidies removal by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s administration, marketers and operators have increased petrol pump price to N210-N500 per litre.
Sagamu residents are facing fuel scarcity as most fueling stations are not selling fuel. Long queues of people and motorists waiting to get fuel have been noticed at most of the fueling stations in the early hours of today. According to our correspondent, most of the fueling stations in Sagamu are not even selling as they don’t have fuel.
The recent fuel scarcity development has made it hard for people to get to their place of work this morning as most of the public transport couldn’t get fuel. The situation has left motorists and residents frustrated, as they are unable to get fuel for their cars and generators. The fuel scarcity has led to increased demand for fuel, which has resulted in long queues at fueling stations.
