Arise Group Set to invest in Agro-Processing zone to drive industrialization in Ogun state

The Arise Group, a global private equity firm, has announced a partnership with the government of Ogun state in Nigeria to establish a Special Agro Processing Zone in the Remo Industrial cluster of the state. The project is set to kick-start construction work, and over 25 investors from the United States of America have shown interest in the project.

The West Africa Head for Arise Integrated Industrial Platform, Jasveer Singh, revealed that the company would be establishing warehouses, trucks, and container park areas for the use of industries in the zone.

The Vice President and Country Head for Nigeria, Suren Abeywickrema, and the President of the Arise Group, Gupta Gagan, gave a briefing on the progress of the project. They noted that the company is glad to be partnering with the Ogun state government in actualizing the project, whose socio-economic impacts to the state and the nation will be tremendous.

The Special Agro Processing Zone project is expected to create job opportunities for the people of Ogun state and enhance the state’s economic growth.

The partnership between Arise Group and the Ogun state government is a significant milestone in the state’s quest for industrialization.
