Vice President Shettima Decorates Acting IGP Kayode Egbetokun

The Vice President, Kashim Shettima, has decorated the acting Inspector General of Police, Kayode Egbetokun, with his new rank at the Presidential Villa, Abuja. Egbetokun, who previously served as Commissioner of Police in Lagos State, was decorated in the presence of senior government officials, including the Governor of Imo State, Senator Hope Uzodimma, Chief of Staff to the President, Femi Gbajabiamila, and the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Senator George Akume.

The brief decoration ceremony was witnessed by family members of the acting IGP and other senior government officials. Shettima was assisted with the decoration by Egbetokun’s wife. This promotion is a significant achievement for Egbetokun, and we wish him the best in his new role.
