Nike Unveils Super Eagles’ 2024 Home and Away Jerseys
Nike, the renowned sportswear brand, has officially revealed the new home and away jerseys for the Super Eagles of Nigeria. After much anticipation and speculation, the jerseys were unveiled in a video posted on Nike’s Instagram page.
For the first time in three years, the Super Eagles will sport a white home kit, while the traditional green shirt will serve as the away kit. The home jersey features green-white-green tape on the sleeves and shorts, adorned with a faded eagle design on the front. Notably, the Super Eagles badge is absent from the shirt but appears on the shorts, while Nike’s logo is presented in red, deviating from the standard color pattern.
The unveiling comes after initial excitement among Nigerian football fans was dampened when the Nigerian Football Federation (NFF) refuted rumors of new jerseys. However, the official unveiling has reignited enthusiasm among supporters ahead of the Africa Cup of Nations event.
