President Tinubu’s congratulatory message, conveyed through his Special Adviser on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga, emphasized the potential for enhanced cooperation between the two nations. The statement highlighted areas of mutual interest, including economic development, peace promotion, and collaborative efforts to address pressing global challenges.
“Together, we can foster economic cooperation, promote peace, and address global challenges that affect our citizens,” the statement reads.
President Tinubu expressed confidence that Trump’s prior experience as the 45th US President would facilitate reciprocal economic and development partnerships between Africa and the United States.
