RECCIMA CROWNS NEW LEADER; OMO’BA MUSIBAU OGUNDEKO INSTALLED AS THE 11th PRESIDENT
The Remo Chamber of Commerce, Industry, Mines, and Agriculture (RECCIMA) has welcomed a new leader, Omo’ba Musibau Abiola Ogundeko, who was invested as the 11th President of the chamber today, Friday, August 22, 2025. The grand investiture ceremony, held at the Conference Hall, Owolowo Cooperative House, Oba-Erinwole II G.R.A Road, Sagamu, Ogun State, was a resounding success, with esteemed guests and dignitaries from various sectors in attendance.
The ceremony was graced by notable attendees, including Engr. Jani Ibrahim, National President of NACCIMA; Asiwaju (Dr.) S.K. Onafowoko, the Asiwaju of Remo Land and former President of LCCI; a representative of His Royal Highness Dr. Babatunde Ajayi, the Akarigbo of Remo Land; Lion Niyi O. Oshiyemi, President of OGUNCCIMA; Oba Onijokun of Ijokun; Hon. Muyiwa Oladipo, former Speaker of the House of Representatives; Oba Oladimeji Allison Adefolyrin Alagura of Agura; and Prof. Tunde Solaarin, among other distinguished guests.
In his chairman’s speech, Asiwaju Doctor Kayode Onafowoko expressed delight in being present at the ceremony and voiced expectations for good leadership from the new president. He emphasized the importance of collaboration and synergy among stakeholders to drive economic growth and development in the region.
The Vice President of NACCIMA delivered an opening speech, welcoming guests, dignitaries, and representatives of the private sector, and expressed hope for a successful tenure for the new president. He highlighted the organization’s commitment to promoting entrepreneurship, creating jobs, and advancing the interests of its members.
Lion Niyi O. Oshiyemi, President of OGUNCCIMA, extended goodwill messages to the new president, wishing him a successful term in office. He emphasized the importance of unity and cooperation among chamber members and stakeholders to achieve common goals.
Engr. Jani Ibrahim, National President of NACCIMA, also gave a speech, recognizing the dignitaries present and encouraging the new president to excel in his new role. He advised the president to receive guidance from traditional institutions and support them when needed. Ibrahim also encouraged individuals and youth to join NACCIMA, highlighting the organization’s mission to empower entrepreneurs and create job opportunities.
The new executives of NACCIMA were inducted by the President of OGUNCCIMA, while the outgoing President, Elder Olatunji Adeniyi, delivered his farewell speech, paving the way for the new leadership. The new president was installed by the Vice National President of NACCIMA, marking a new era of leadership and development for the chamber and its stakeholders.
With his installation, Omo’ba Musibau Abiola Ogundeko assumes leadership of RECCIMA, tasked with advancing the interests of its members and promoting economic growth in the region.
