Tuoyo Ideh Criticizes Regina Daniels’ Mother Over Early Marriage, Calls for Better Parenting

Reality TV star Tuoyo Ideh has criticized actress Regina Daniels’ mother, Rita Daniels, over her daughter’s early marriage, expressing concerns about contemporary parenting and its role in guiding children.

In a post shared via his Instagram Stories, Tuoyo questioned how some parents today allow their children to make significant life decisions without proper supervision. He highlighted Regina Daniels’ teenage marriage as an example, calling it a failure in parental responsibility.

Tuoyo reflected on how earlier generations of parents were more involved in their children’s lives, keeping track of their whereabouts and guiding their choices. He contrasted this with the current era, suggesting many parents have become less attentive to their children’s wellbeing.

He specifically pointed out that Regina’s mother should not have allowed her to marry at age 17 or 18, deeming it irresponsible to let a young girl, who is inexperienced, make such a decision. Tuoyo urged parents to do better in raising and protecting their children, warning that neglectful parenting can lead young people astray.

Tuoyo’s comments come amid ongoing discussions about Regina Daniels’ marriage and her reported fallout with her husband, Ned Nwoko, including allegations of domestic abuse.

He emphasized, “Nowadays parents mess us up a lot, how will your child travel to another country for like 3 weeks and you don’t know at all? Back in the day, our parents knew where we were and when we were coming back home. Imagine how Regina’s mum let her go with a man at 17/18 years — a child who doesn’t know anything. Parents need to do better.”
