CELEBRATION AND REFLECTION AS ISIAKA ASIRU UNVEILS A MAN OF MANY MILES AT 60
Family members, friends, associates, traditional rulers, and dignitaries from across the country gathered in Sagamu on Sunday, May 31, 2026, to celebrate the 60th birthday of renowned businessman and philanthropist, Alhaji Isiaka Olaniyi Asiru, popularly known as Agbegilere 10, alongside the official launch of his autobiography titled *A Man of Many Miles*.
The colourful ceremony commenced with musical entertainment and the recognition of distinguished guests, including the Chief Launcher, Chief Mrs. Obasanjo, Alhaji Adeyemi Soda, the Aare Bobagunwa of Idado Sagamu, Brigadier General Kunle Solarin (Rtd.), Colonel Dele Oyefuya (Rtd.), HRH Oba Evangelist Oladimeji Alison, the Alagura of Agura Sabo, Sagamu, Oba Ogunsola Muyideen Oluseyi, the Ayanperuwa of Sotubo, and several other notable personalities.
The atmosphere became even more vibrant as the celebrant made a grand entrance accompanied by members of his family. Guests rose in excitement, cheering and dancing as they welcomed him into the venue.
The opening prayer was led by the Imam of Remoland, Alhaji Nurudeen Mohammed, who expressed gratitude to Almighty Allah for preserving the life of the celebrant and his family. He also offered prayers for continued good health, prosperity, and divine blessings upon them.
In their goodwill messages, friends, associates, and community leaders paid glowing tributes to Alhaji Asiru, describing him as a humble, generous, and compassionate individual whose contributions have positively impacted many lives. They commended his commitment to philanthropy, community development, and his unwavering support for those in need.
A major highlight of the occasion was the official launch of *A Man of Many Miles*, an autobiography that chronicles the life journey, experiences, challenges, and achievements of the celebrant. The book launch attracted generous support from guests and dignitaries, with Brigadier General Kunle Solarin (Rtd.), Colonel Dele Oyefuya (Rtd.), and several others making significant donations toward the project.
Following the successful launch, Alhaji Asiru and members of his family were invited to cut the birthday cake amid applause and excitement from guests.
The celebration later transitioned into a lively entertainment session as legendary Fuji icon King Wasiu Ayinde Marshal (K1 De Ultimate)thrilled guests with captivating performances. His energetic renditions of popular songs drew the celebrant, family members, and guests to the dance floor, creating memorable moments that added glamour and excitement to the event.
Speaking on the significance of the occasion, several attendees described the celebration as a fitting tribute to a man whose life journey, accomplishments, and service to humanity continue to inspire many.
