Ogun Judiciary Resumes Regular Court Proceedings Today

The Ogun State Judiciary is expected to resume regular court proceedings today, Monday, September 14, following the conclusion of its 2026 annual vacation.

The vacation period, which began in July, ended on Friday, September 11, with urgent matters handled by designated vacation judges during the break. A legal-news report published in July had stated that normal court activities in the state were expected to resume on September 14.

The resumption means regular judicial proceedings can continue across the state’s judicial divisions, including Sagamu, subject to the courts’ scheduled cause lists.

The development marks the return to normal judicial activities after the annual vacation period.
