UBA Opens Subscription Channel for Dangote Refinery IPO

United Bank for Africa (UBA) Plc has opened a subscription channel for eligible investors seeking to acquire shares in the Initial Public Offering (IPO) of Dangote Petroleum Refinery and Petrochemicals FZE.
UBA was authorised as one of the financial institutions through which investors can participate in the public offer, which comprises 4.1 billion ordinary shares priced at ₦525 per share.
The minimum subscription is 10 shares, valued at ₦5,250, while investors may apply for additional shares in line with the terms of the offer. The IPO opened on September 14, 2026, and is scheduled to close on October 13, 2026.
UBA said eligible investors can subscribe through its designated channels and advised prospective subscribers to ensure that their personal and banking information, including their Bank Verification Number (BVN), is accurate and up to date.
The bank also urged investors to carefully review the offer documents and understand the risks associated with investing in shares before subscribing. The SEC has similarly advised investors to use only officially approved subscription channels and to avoid unauthorised platforms or individuals.
The development gives eligible investors another approved route to participate in the landmark Dangote Refinery public offer.
