A COMPREHENSIVE PROFILE OF PRINCESS ADESOLA AYOOLA ELEGBEJI

 

Hon Princess Adesola Ayoola Elegbeji,Her grandfather, the Late Negbuwa of Ibido, Makun, and maternal grandmother, nee Adegbite from Itunla, Offin sired Prince David Adekunle Ayoola, (Princess Adesola’s father), the former Vice Chairman of Sagamu Local Govt, and former Supervisory Councillor for Works under the old Remo Local Govt.

 

Princess Adesola’s mother, Chief Mrs Victoria Modupe Ayoola, from Simawa in Makun, was a pioneer staff of NNPC, Mosimi, Sagamu. Before she transited to glory, she was the Iya Ijo of Methodist Church, Soyindo.

Princess Adesola was born about six decades ago. She had her first degree in Geology from Ogun State University, now Olabisi Onabanjo University, Ago Iwoye.

She holds a Master Degree in Organisational Behaviour from the University of London,

with focus on Business Change and Organisational Transformation. Furthermore, she obtained a

second Master Degree in Intelligent Management Systems from the South Bank University, London.

 

Her academic background has provided her with a solid understanding

of socio-economic principles, democratic processes, and the importance of personnel management.

Adesola has a wealth of professional experience in various sectors, including government

administration, community advocacy, and non-profit organizations. Her diverse background

has exposed her to different perspectives and challenges faced by individuals in the society, allowing her to effectively contribute to the progress of the people, essentially by way of philanthropy and services.

 

Among her core areas of expertise are: Business transformation, operational excellence, change management, technology integration, and strategic planning, to name just a few.

 

Highly committed to social justice, fairness and empathy, Princess Adesola, has excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with which she has positively impacted her community.

 

Her dedication to transparency, accountability and public trust has earned her an outstanding reference and mark in institutions of engagement.

Intellectually armed with over 25 years of experience in community organisation, business performance, organisational growth, and sectors like health, manufacturing, oil and gas, Princess Adesola Ayoola Elegbeji has worked in these leading sectors, helping to navigate complex challenges and achieve transformation goals.

 

In diverse installations, and social terrains, she has conducted thorough assessments, market analysis, and

risk assessments to identify growth opportunities, mitigate potential challenges, and create roadmaps that guide organizations toward their desired future state.

Not only is Adesola a Chartered IT professional of the British Computer Society, she is a Prince 2 Accreditation Microsoft Certified Project Manager. Between 2013 and 2015, she was administration consultant for Lead British International School, Abuja, and afterwards, the Principal/Proprietor of Concepta College, London.

Her past clients include: Financial Conduct Authority; National Health Service; Nigerian Liquidfied Natural Gas Ltd; Chevron Oil and Gas; Centrica British Gas; Mars Wrigley PLC; and Johnson Matthey PLC.

Raised in a progressive political circle, Princess Adesola, having been a member of APC since the dispensation of AD, AC, and ACN, was House of Reps aspirant in 2014. In the 2019 Primaries, she emerged second in the race. So also in 2023, she tried again. She was Assistant Director of Protocol, Dapo Abiodun Governorship election in 2019. She was among the first set of political appointees when His Excellency, Prince Dapo Abiodun appointed her as Commissioner in Ogun State Judicial Service Commission in 2019 – 2024

 

Since 2014, under the Ayoola Elegbeji Foundation, she has been involved in self-sponsored empowerment activities in Sagamu, Ikenne and Remo North Local Govts. At the moment, a considerable number of Remo indigenes are beneficiaries of her educational and vocational trainings, and schorlarship programmes.

 

Princess Adesola Ayoola Elegbeji is most willing and ready to bring her wealth of experience to serve the people of Remo, her homeland, in the House of Representatives.
