APC Inaugurates Remo Federal Constituency Campaign Council at Akarigbo Palace.

The All Progressives Congress (APC) in Remo Federal Constituency has inaugurated its campaign council for the 2027 general elections at the Remo Traditional Council Hall, Akarigbo Palace, Ita-Oba, Sagamu.
The event drew party leaders, candidates, stakeholders and grassroots mobilisers from Sagamu, Ikenne and Remo North Local Government Areas.
Among those in attendance were Chief Koya Adedoyin, APC Ogun East Chairman, and Dr. Ipaye, Director-General of the Ogun East Campaign Council, who was represented by the council’s Assistant Director-General, Hon. Daisi Akintan. Akintan performed the role of the director-general at the event.
Other attendees included Chief Pegba Otemolu, who spoke about expanding the party’s campaign and mobilisation efforts; Chief Kollingale; Evangelist Ifede; Hon. Olaide Okunola, known as Citizen; Bashorun Awosanya; Baba Are; Ade n Ade; Hon. Oscar; Hon. PJ; and Hon. Solomon Oyekan and his team.
The gathering also included Sagamu Constituency I candidate Hon. Damilare Bello Dre, Ikenne State Constituency candidate Hon. Seyi Muyiwa, and Ogun State Commissioner for Environment Ola Oresanya. Alhaji Asiru, Hon. Okupe, Senior Adviser on Women Affairs, and State Treasurer Hon. Jokotade were also present. Jokotade urged members to convert their mobilisation efforts into votes at ward level.
Representatives of the Arewa and Igbo communities, other non-indigenous groups, and the APC chairmen of Sagamu, Ikenne and Remo North were among those attending. Hon. Omotayo Omujo represented Sagamu, alongside serving and former councillors and other party leaders.
The highlight was an address by the APC’s House of Representatives candidate for Remo Federal Constituency, Hon. Funmilayo Efuwape, popularly known as FAECO. She called on committee members to remain united and urged chairpersons to involve every member, including the youngest.
Efuwape said she had been working collaboratively with other candidates across Remoland, stressing that decisions were being made collectively under the APC. She described the coming campaign as different from previous efforts, saying it would be a campaign led by politicians and should result in a significant victory at the polls.
Party leaders also urged the council to work diligently towards winning across all APC candidates. Committee chairpersons and members were sworn in, received their appointment letters and were instructed to begin work immediately. Efuwape directed each local government committee to start meeting without delay.
The inauguration concluded with party supporters singing solidarity songs.
