Dignitaries Gather For Prof. Theophilus Oladipupo Service of Songs

Celebrating a life well spent of emeritus professor Theophilus Oladipupo Ogunlesi, who died on 19th January 2023,churches, Christian organizations, societies, and groups in Sagamu, Ogun state, on Monday 10th April, gathered at the Cathedral Centenary plaza hall for a Joint service of songs.

The service of songs started at about 4pm with an opening hymn and prayer, which saw well-wishers trooping in to pay their respect to the late Theophilus Oladipupo.

Presentations were made by the bible society of Nigeria, the Christian association of Nigeria, the great Remo chorale, representatives of RemoGDF ably led by Otunba Tunji Lawal Solarin, and many other associations.

It was a moment of emotional play as people came out to testify on how impactful the existence of pa Theophilus has been, not only in the academia, but also his input to creating and ensuring a secured future for Youths across Nigeria.

In attendance was the Ewusi of Makun Kingdom Oba Timothy Oyesola Akinsanya, Otunba Tunji Lawal Solarin and many others. The session was rounded off with prayers from the presiding priest.
