Former Ogun NURTW Chairman Akeem Bodunrin ‘Iyeru’ Reportedly Dies

Former Chairman of the Ogun State chapter of the National Union of Road Transport Workers (NURTW), Alhaji Akeem Bodunrin, popularly known as Iyeru, has reportedly died.

Bodunrin’s death was reported by multiple media outlets on Saturday and Sunday, with Peoples Gazette citing colleagues who said he died on Saturday evening at his residence in Ogun State.

However, as of the time of filing this report, there has been no public confirmation from the Ogun State Police Command, Ogun State Government or the relevant transport union authorities. The cause of his reported death has also not been disclosed.
