Gov. Abiodun Mourns Late Chief Moses Akinmade, Describes Him as Peaceful, Devout Christian

 

 

 

The Ogun State governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun has described late Chief Moses Akinmade, father of his Special Adviser on Media and Communication, as a peaceful and devout Christian who left a lasting legacy for his children.

 

The Governor of Ondo State, Dr. Lucky Aiyedatiwa, represented by his Chief Press Secretary, Mr. Ebenezer Adeniyan, also paid tribute to the deceased.

 

He praised Chief Akinmade’s son, Hon. Kayode Akinmade, for his dedication to governance, noting that his steadfastness and loyalty reflect the values he inherited from his late father.

 

In his sermon titled “What Will You Leave Behind in This Life of Vanity?” Rev’d Samson Odeyinka emphasized the transient nature of life and urged the congregation to use their wealth for the betterment of the society.

 

The preacher encouraged attendees to reflect on their own legacies, stressing that material possessions would not accompany them beyond this world.

 

Hon. Kayode Akinmade, in his remarks, expressed gratitude to all who came to honor his late father and appreciated the show of love and support from friends, colleagues, and dignitaries who stood by the family during the difficult time.

 

The event drew people from all walks of life, including former Ondo State Governor Dr. Olusegun Mimiko, serving and past members of the National Assembly, political leaders, media icons, and top civil servants from both Ondo and Ogun States.
