Other clerics also joined the prayers.

Speaking at the programme, Alhaji Ambassador congratulated the Alaperu-Elect on his emergence and prayed for a reign marked by love, dignity, fairness and unity across religious communities.

He thanked Ogun State Governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun, for his support during the selection process, and recognised the contributions of the kingmakers and other stakeholders. He also prayed for peace, progress and prosperity for Iperu Remo and its people.

In his response, Oba Fibigbuwa thanked the prayer group, the attending clerics and members of the ruling house for their prayers and support. He pledged to work towards sustaining peace, unity and development in the community.

The monarch-elect stressed that building a prosperous Iperu Remo would require collective responsibility and the cooperation of its residents.

The prayer session highlighted the role of faith, religious harmony and community solidarity in supporting the town’s future. Prayers were offered for the Alaperu-Elect to receive wisdom and guidance, and for blessings upon the Fibigbuwa Ruling House and all sons and daughters of Iperu Remo.
