Kayinsola Ajayi Confirmed for Diamond League Final in Brussels
Nigerian sprinter Kayinsola Ajayi has been confirmed to compete in the men’s 100m at the 2026 Wanda Diamond League Final in Brussels, Belgium.
The season-ending competition is scheduled for September 4–5, 2026, at the Allianz Memorial Van Damme. The Diamond League’s official athlete profile lists Brussels as Ajayi’s next meeting.
Ajayi did not qualify through the regular Diamond League points standings but has secured a place through the global wildcard system, which allows eligible athletes to enter the final outside the automatic qualification positions.
The 21-year-old Nigerian holds a 9.84-second personal best, which he recorded in 2026, and is a two-time Diamond League meeting winner this season.
