Magixx Mourns Mother Esther After Six-Year Battle With Illness
Nigerian singer Alexander Adelabu, popularly known as Magixx, has announced the death of his mother, Esther.
The singer made the announcement in an emotional social media tribute, expressing his difficulty accepting her death and describing the experience as the most painful he had ever faced.
“I have never felt pain like this, never been this lost. Still processing that this is real, can’t believe this will happen to you Mom,” Magixx wrote.
He said his mother had spent the last six years fighting for her family, friends and strangers while remaining cheerful and full of life despite her illness.
Magixx also described Esther as his “reason,” “guardian,” “twin” and “everything,” while expressing his love and appreciation for her.
The singer did not disclose the specific illness or cause of her death in the tribute.
