Nigeria Air Force(NAF) Invaded IKEDC Ikeja, over Power Disconnection

The Nigerian Air Force (NAF) reportedly stormed the Ikeja Electricity Distribution Company (IKEDC) office in Ikeja, Lagos, over the disconnection of electricity supply to their base.
According to eyewitnesses, the NAF personnel, who were armed, invaded the IKEDC office and threatened to take drastic measures if the power supply was not restored immediately.
The IKEDC had earlier disconnected the power supply to the NAF base due to unpaid bills, which led to the confrontation.
The incident has raised concerns about the use of force by military personnel in resolving civil matters.
Meanwhile the Ikeja Electricity Distribution Company have been in the news lately due to various issues on power supply.
Residents of Oshodi Community in Lagos State have been protesting against the alleged estimated billing from the company and power outrage.
Officers of the military stormed the IKEDC Headquarters in Lagos due to recent complaints and the effect within the base.
