Sagamu Chairman Receives Newly Posted NSCDC Area Commander, Pledges Continued Security Collaboration

The Executive Chairman of Sagamu Local Government, Ogbeni Jubril Olasile Odulate,today, received the newly posted Area Commander of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), Remo Area Command, Assistant Commandant of Corps Akinwa Damilola, on a courtesy visit following his assumption of duty.

The visit, which took place on Tuesday, also had in attendance the Heads of Divisions of the NSCDC across the Remo area.

Welcoming the new Area Commander, Odulate congratulated him on his appointment and wished him a successful tenure in office. He also welcomed him to Sagamu Local Government and the Remo Division, expressing confidence in his ability to strengthen security operations in the area.

The Chairman assured the NSCDC of his administration’s continued support, noting that the existing collaboration between the local government and the corps has contributed significantly to maintaining peace and protecting lives and property.

Odulate added that his administration remains committed to deepening its partnership with the NSCDC and other security agencies to ensure a safer environment for residents and to sustain security across Sagamu Local Government.

In his remarks, Assistant Commandant of Corps Akinwa Damilola appreciated the warm reception and pledged the command’s commitment to working with the local government and other stakeholders to promote peace, security and public safety in the Remo area.
