Sagamu LG commissions new chairman’s office, secretariat facelift

 

The Executive Chairman of Sagamu Local Government, Ogbeni Jubril Odulate, has commissioned a newly constructed Chairman’s Office and the renovated Local Government Secretariat as part of efforts to improve the working environment for staff and strengthen public service delivery.

Speaking at the commissioning ceremony on Thursday , the chairman said the projects represent another milestone in his administration’s drive to provide a functional, efficient and conducive workplace for public servants.

 

According to him, a modern and well-maintained office environment promotes discipline, accountability and improved productivity, enabling workers to serve residents more effectively. The chairman disclosed that both projects were funded entirely through the Local Government’s internally generated revenue, noting that the development demonstrates prudent and transparent management of public funds.

 

He said the projects reflect the administration’s focus on the growth and sustainable development of Sagamu Local Government while setting a new benchmark for responsible governance under its “Sagamu First” agenda.

 

The chairman appreciated the Governor of Ogun State, Dapo Abiodun, for his support for the administration’s vision.

 

He also acknowledged the Akarigbo of Remoland, Oba Babatunde Adewale Ajayi and other traditional rulers across Sagamu, alongside party leaders, members of the Legislative Council, management and staff of the Local Government, for their contributions to the successful completion of the projects.

 

The chairman added that his administration will continue to deliver projects aimed at accelerating development and improving the quality of life of residents in the local government.
