Sagamu Local Government Unveils New IT Centre Honoring Legacy of Rt. Hon. Adewunmi Oriyomi Onanuga
A state-of-the-art Information Technology Centre was unveiled in Sagamu Local Government, a lasting tribute to the enduring legacy of Rt. Hon. Adewunmi Oriyomi Onanuga, affectionately known as IJAYA. The project, the third delivered by the Sagamu Local Government since November, stands as a beacon of progress, vision, and community impact.
Ogbeni Jubril Olasile Odulate, Executive Chairman of Sagamu Local Government, announced the milestone with pride, emphasizing the centre’s significance. “Every block of this new IT centre building tells a story of vision, of legacy, and of a woman whose name will never fade from our hearts,” he said. “Rt. Hon. Adewunmi Oriyomi Onanuga lives on, not just in memory, but in impact.”
The IT centre is designed to empower the youth of Sagamu with digital skills, fostering innovation and economic growth. It symbolizes the local government’s commitment to sustainable development and purposeful governance. As the third project delivered in under a year, it underscores the administration’s relentless drive to transform the community.
