SAWI AMPLIFIES DEEP NATIONAL ENGAGEMENT AS A PANACEA FOR GREATER REMO-LAND, JOINS GNI, AKINOSI, OMOIWA, AFUAPE AT HIGH-PROFILE NATIONAL POLICY DIALOGUE IN ABUJA
In a demonstration of his unwavering commitment to progressive governance and inclusive development, Hon. Soyoye Akinyode Solomon (SAWI) joined other distinguished leaders of the Ogun State National Assembly Caucus, including Hon. Gboyega Nasir Isiaka (GNI), Hon. Olatunji Akanni Akinosi, Hon. Olufemi Ogunbanwo (OMOIWA), and Hon. Afolabi Moruf Afuape at a high-profile National Policy Dialogue held in Abuja.
The Dialogue, themed “The Imperatives of National Development Planning and Effective Budgeting System for Sustainable Growth of the Nigerian Economy,” brought together key stakeholders, policymakers, and thought leaders to deliberate on strategic frameworks necessary to reposition Nigeria’s development trajectory through robust planning and disciplined budgeting systems.
The event was graced by the presence of the Honourable Minister of Budget and National Planning Senator Abubakar Atiku Bagudu, as well as the Honourable Minister of State for Budget and National Planning Dr. Doris Uzoka-Anite alongside other critical actors in Nigeria’s economic and governance architecture.
SAWI, while engaging actively in the discussions, emphasized that deep national engagement remains a vital panacea for addressing the multifaceted challenges confronting the nation. He reiterated that sustainable development can only be achieved through deliberate collaboration, strategic planning, and effective implementation of policies that reflect the realities and aspirations of the people.
Highlighting the importance of such platforms, SAWI noted that participation in national dialogues provides valuable insights that can be domesticated to drive grassroots development, particularly in Remo-Land. He stressed that Remo-Land must continue to align with national priorities while leveraging its unique potential to accelerate socio-economic growth.
Furthermore, SAWI underscored the need for strengthened institutional frameworks, transparency in budgeting processes, and accountability in public service delivery as critical pillars for national transformation.
He concluded by reaffirming his commitment to translating the knowledge and experiences gained from the Dialogue into actionable initiatives that will foster inclusive growth, empower the people, and position Remo-Land as a model of sustainable development within Ogun State and Nigeria at large.
