His death was also independently reported by several Nigerian news organisations, while his daughter, Kira Taiwo, reportedly confirmed the development during an Instagram Live session.

The actor’s remains are expected to be taken to his hometown, Ilaro, Ogun State, on Sunday ahead of his burial on Monday, August 24.

According to the announced arrangements, a lying-in-state ceremony is scheduled to hold at the Pavillon in Ilaro at 11:00 a.m. on Monday. A separate announcement from the Ilaro Muslim Community puts the burial prayer at 10:00 a.m. at the Asade Agunloye Pavilion Ground.
