YAYI Leads APC Supporters on Grassroots Rally in Sagamu

The All Progressives Congress (APC) governorship candidate in Ogun State, Senator Solomon Olamilekan Adeola, popularly known as YAYI, on Thursday led party supporters on a grassroots mobilisation rally in Sagamu as political activities intensify ahead of the 2027 governorship election.
The rally commenced around the Ita-Oba area of Sagamu, with supporters gathering around the palace of the Akarigbo of Remoland, Oba Babatunde Adewale Ajayi, before proceeding through parts of the town.
Footage from the rally showed YAYI and a large gathering of APC supporters moving through the community, with party members and support groups displaying APC colours, banners and other campaign materials.
The mobilisation comes a day after YAYI attended the Ogun West APC Stakeholders’ Meeting in Ilaro, where he called for greater unity and inclusion among party members and announced plans to strengthen the party’s grassroots structure ahead of the 2027 election.
The Sagamu mobilisation comes amid increased political activity across Ogun State ahead of the 2027 governorship election, with the APC and other political parties stepping up grassroots engagements and preparations for the poll.
