YAYI Progressives Movement Inaugurated in Abeokuta with Massive Turnout


The YAYI Progressives Movement was formally inaugurated on Sunday, May 3, 2026, at the Ake Palace Pavilion, in a grand ceremony marked by an impressive turnout of political leaders, traditional rulers, party stakeholders, and supporters from across Ogun State.
The event, which commenced at 11:00 a.m., attracted a large and enthusiastic crowd, reflecting the growing acceptance and grassroots strength of the movement within the state. Attendees filled the venue to capacity, with many describing the inauguration as one of the most significant political gatherings in recent times in Ogun State.
A major highlight of the ceremony was the official unveiling of the movement alongside the distribution of campaign buses, a strategic move aimed at enhancing political mobilization, strengthening outreach efforts, and reinforcing the movement’s readiness for future electoral engagements.

Also present were key members of the All Progressives Congress, including senators, members of the House of Representatives, members of the State House of Assembly, commissioners, permanent secretaries, party executives, and local government chairmen.
