Governor Makinde Inspects Projects, Says Ibadan Dry Ports to Start Operating Soon

Governor Seyi Makinde of Oyo State inspected several projects over the weekend, including the Ibadan Inland Dry Port, the College of Agriculture and Renewable Energy in Iseyin, Engineer Lere Adigun Housing Estate in Basorun, Ibadan, and the Ibadan Circular Road. During the inspection, the governor expressed his optimism that the dry port project would be completed soon, as the Federal Government understands the benefits of developing economic value chains.

Governor Makinde also stated that his administration intends to collaborate more with the Federal Government to ensure that the dry port project and other projects are completed on time. He urged young people in the state to take advantage of the opportunities that the projects would provide.

According to the governor, the state has made significant progress with regards to the projects, and there is still a lot of work to be done. However, he expressed satisfaction with the progress made so far, and he urged investors to explore the opportunities available in the state.

The Ibadan Inland Dry Port is expected to boost economic activities in the state and create job opportunities for the people. The project is part of the Federal Government’s efforts to develop economic value chains and improve the ease of doing business in the country.
