The search is on in Ogun State as the local organizing committee (LOC) of the 2024 National Sports Festival begins its quest to find creative groups to produce captivating opening and closing ceremonies for the highly anticipated event. In a statement by Modele Sarafa-Yusuf, the chairperson of the Protocol and Ceremonial sub-committee of the LOC, it was emphasized that Ogun State, known as the educational and creative capital of Nigeria, has a wealth of local talent and inspiration to showcase during the ceremonies. The organizers are calling on creative minds to think differently and make the ceremonies a true reflection of Ogun State’s trailblazing spirit.

Both the opening and closing ceremonies of the 2024 National Sports Festival will take place at the Moshood Abiola Stadium in Abeokuta, Ogun State. This marks the second time that Ogun State has been selected to host the prestigious sports event.
