Coach Wemimo Matthew Appointed as Head Coach of Remo Stars Ladies
Nigeria Women Football League (NWFL) side, Remo Stars Ladies, have appointed Wemimo Matthew as the Coach of the team.
The Super Falconets assistant coach who signed a two-year contract with the club will begin her new role immediately and her first major assignment is to see how the team can quickly gel together in the 3rd edition of the Betsy Obaseki Women Football Tournament (BOWFT) scheduled to take place from October 23 in Benin, the capital of Edo State.
The CAF A licenced coach guided Sunshine Queens to a fourth-place finish at the end of the 2020/21 NWFL season Premiership Super Six at Ijebu Ode, Ogun State.
Coach Wemimo Matthew was also in charge of Edo Queens that got a slot in 2021/22 season of the Nigeria’s Women Football League (NWFL) that was played at the Samuel Ogbemudia Stadium in Benin in May 2022.
