Dapo Abiodun Seeks Collaboration with Lafarge Africa for Road Repairs and Environmental Safety

Seeking to advance infrastructure development and prioritize the well-being of the people, Governor Dapo Abiodun of Ogun State has sought the collaboration of Lafarge Africa.

 

During a recent visit from Lafarge Africa’s management team, discussions were held on fostering stronger collaboration and enriching the immediate environment. The governor, having secured the go-ahead from the Federal Ministry of Works to commence road repairs, urged Lafarge Africa and other prominent companies in the region to lend their assistance in identifying the exact sections of the road that require attention.

Furthermore, Governor Abiodun emphasized the importance of environmental safety practices. He earnestly urged Lafarge Africa to form a close alliance with the Ogun State Waste Management Agency (OGWAMA) and the Ogun State Environmental Protection Agency (OGEPA). Compliance with the highest standards of environmental safety is crucial to ensure the well-being of the people and the preservation of the region’s natural resources.

 

” Furthermore, we earnestly urged Lafarge to form a close alliance with the Ogun State Waste Management Agency (OGWAMA) and the Ogun State Environmental Protection Agency (OGEPA) to ensure unwavering compliance with the highest standards of environmental safety practices.” The governor said.
