Senator Salisu Hosts Town Hall Meeting, Vows Commitment to Ogun Central Youth Development

 

Senator Shuaib Afolabi Salisu, representing Ogun Central Senatorial District, recently organized a town hall meeting at his constituency office along Abiola Way, Abeokuta, to engage with youth groups and address their concerns. The event aimed at expressing gratitude for the mandate given and providing a platform for constituents to highlight challenges.

The town hall meeting saw the attendance of various youth groups from across the Ogun Central Senatorial District. Senator Salisu expressed his appreciation for the unwavering support received from party youths and interest groups, emphasizing his commitment to quality representation.

 

During the gathering, Senator Salisu outlined several ongoing projects across the district, including the training and empowerment of over 100 individuals in digital skills and ICT development. Additionally, he highlighted initiatives such as climate change mitigation training for 300 women, distribution of special food packages to families through radio stations, the establishment of 8 ICT centers in secondary schools, and the provision of JAMB forms for over 1000 students.

 

Prominent personalities present at the meeting included Engr. Babatunde Adesina, the Director General of the SAS campaign team; Hon. Ganiyu Oyedeji (GOCO), former Member of Ogun State House of Assembly representing Ifo Constituency 2; Hon. Folasade Adeyemo, Chairman of Odeda Local Government; and Hon Majekodunmi Olanrewaju, Commissioner, Ogun State Teaching Service Commission (TESCOM), among others.

 

The youth groups praised Senator Salisu for his intellectual prowess, integrity, and focused leadership, vowing to continue supporting his initiatives and informing others within their communities about his impactful works.
