Sagamu Mourns Demise of Political Stalwart, Chief Bayode Omololu Oluwole

 

 

The entire community of Sagamu is grieving the loss of Chief Bayode Omololu Oluwole, a political icon, leader, and chieftain of the Ogun State Chapter of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP). Chief Oluwole, aged 84, passed away on Saturday, March 23, 2024, at Babcock University Teaching Hospital in Ilishan Remo after a brief illness.

 

Chief Oluwole, who served as the first Executive Chairman of Sagamu Local Government from 1991 to 1993, was widely respected and held various notable titles within the community. He was the Bobajiroro of Remo Land, The Aremo of Arowosugbo of Ojowo Ijebu Igbo, The Aro of Latawa Sagamu, Olofin of Ibido, Sagamu, and the Balogun of Methodist Church, Ijoku Sagamu.

 

The news of Chief Oluwole’s passing has left families, friends, associates, and party members of the PDP in Sagamu and Ogun State in general in deep sorrow. The community has come together to extend their heartfelt condolences to the entire Oluwole family.

 

Chief Bayode Omololu Oluwole’s legacy as a dedicated leader and his contributions to Sagamu will be remembered and cherished by all who knew him.
