Light up Iperu Mgt Felicitates Prince Wale Oyekoya on Appointment as Consultant to Ogun State Governor

The Management Board of the Light Up Iperu Scheme, has felicitates its Chairman, Prince Wale OYEKOYA, popularly known as Bama, on his appointment as a Consultant on Agriculture to the Governor of Ogun State, Prince Dapo ABIODUN, CON.
The board in a congratulatory message issued by the Secretary, Sir Yemi ADEITAN, described OYEKOYA’s appointment as very timely, apt, and well-deserved, judging by the appointee’s professional pedigree, and political antecedents.
He further described the appointment as one of putting a round peg in a round hole.
“On behalf of the entire members of the board, i write to felicitate you on this well-deserved appointment which is not only apt, but timely, coming at a time that all efforts are geared towards sustainable agriculture and food security.
We have no doubt in your ability, competence, and capacity to successfully deliver on this sensitive and important assignment, and we hereby send our best wishes as we pray for a successful and an impactful tenure for you, said the Secretary in his message.
The board also expressed appreciation to the Governor of Ogun State, Prince Dapo ABIODUN for finding the Chairman worthy of the appointment and assured him of necessary support to the new appointee.
The newly-appointed Consultant on Agriculture to the Governor of Ogun State, and Chairman, Light Up Iperu Scheme Management Board, Prince Wale OYEKOYA, is an accomplished Agriculturist and a fit-for-purpose technocrat who serves as Agricultural Consultant to many states and the federal government of Nigeria.
He is an Agric Entrepreneur and the Managing Director of Bama Farms Limited.
He was a former Chairman of the Lagos Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
He is a Public Affairs Analyst who featured regularly in the broadcast media to discuss topical issues especially as it relates to Agriculture and Food Security, and also a writer and an author with several publications to his credit.
A socialite of no mean repute, and a community leader with passion for development at the grassroot, Bama is the President of the prestigious Akesan Royal Executives, and Treasurer, Iperu Development Association.
The appointment takes effect from Wednesday, 21st August, 2024 according to a letter of appointment personally signed by the Governor, Prince Dapo ABIODUN, CON.
While reacting to his appointment, Prince Wale OYEKOYA, who recently emerged as the General Leader of the All Progressive Congress in Iperu, appreciated God for His grace, and thanked the Governor for the wonderful opportunity, just as he pledged to justify the confidence reposed in him, bringing to bear in his new assignment, his age-long expertise in the field of agriculture.
