PDP Primaries: Dr. Oyenuga Emerges Chairmanship Candidate For Sagamu LG

The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has held its chairmanship primaries in Sagamu Local Government, with Dr. Oyenuga Adeshola Jamiu emerging as the party’s candidate.

The primaries, which took place on September 7, 2024, at the Lord Bashy Centre, Hospital Road, Sagamu, were supervised by officials from the Ogun State Independent Electoral Commission (OGSIEC), the Nigerian police, and other security agencies.

Dr. Oyenuga’s victory was witnessed by party leaders, faithful, and observers. In addition to his emergence, the party leadership, led by Alhaja Mujidat Ogunnaike and Hon. Daisi Akintan, endorsed Engr. Munirudeen Odunayo Olatunji as the party’s Vice Chairmanship candidate.

The party’s Secretary, Caretaker Committee, Babaseyi Osinowo, congratulated the candidates and urged them to be good ambassadors for the party in the forthcoming local government election.

This further confirms the readiness of the peoples Democratic Party for the forthcoming local government elections scheduled for November 16th.
