Abo Joins Remo Representative Race, Declares Intent to Run
Asiwaju Bolarinwa Oluwole, popularly known as Abo, has officially declared his candidacy to represent the Remo Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives on the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP). His announcement marks a significant step towards enhancing political representation for the people of Remo and fostering sustainable development in the region.
Having previously contested in the last election under the PDP, Abo is determined to bring forth a vision for a prosperous Remoland, rooted in five key pillars: infrastructure revitalization, economic empowerment, education and youth empowerment, sports and talent development, and healthcare.
To realize this vision, Abo outlines a robust plan that includes the creation of skills acquisition and vocational training centers to enhance employability among the youth. He aims to facilitate access to startup grants and soft loans, empowering young entrepreneurs to thrive. Abo emphasizes the need for policies that inclusively engage youth in governance and create pathways for leadership development.
In the economic realm, Abo intends to support digital literacy programs while fostering investments in agriculture, technology, and manufacturing. He plans to champion federal support and funding initiatives for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) within the constituency, ensuring economic growth and job creation.
Education is another core focus for Abo, who proposes upgrading school infrastructure and introducing STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) and digital training programs. To support students financially, he aims to provide scholarships and bursaries, alongside establishing a government-backed funding framework dedicated to sports and talent development in Remo.
