Jonathan Honored with Sunhak Peace Prize in South Korea

Former President Goodluck Jonathan has expressed his heartfelt appreciation for receiving the Founder’s Sunhak Peace Prize during an official ceremony in Seoul, South Korea.

 

In a post shared on his X page on Friday, Jonathan conveyed that this accolade is not just a personal achievement but also a recognition of the efforts made by Nigerians and Africans dedicated to peace and development.

 

“I am immensely grateful for the Founder’s Sunhak Peace Prize presented to me today in Seoul,” he remarked.

 

He dedicated the award to all Nigerians and Africans who strive for peace and progress. “This honour belongs to every Nigerian who believes in the possibility of peace and to every African working towards the advancement of our continent,” he emphasized.

 

Additionally, he congratulated his fellow award recipients and expressed gratitude to those who contributed to his recognition. “I extend my congratulations to the other awardees and thank Dr. Hak Ja Han Moon, co-founder of the Universal Peace Federation, the Sunhak Peace Prize Foundation, and my wife, Dame Patience Jonathan, for her unwavering love and support,” he concluded.
